Vivid Emotion Studio is a clinical therapy practice grounded in the Emotion Liberation Model™ — a framework that treats your inner emotional life not as something to manage, but as a system to understand, honor, and hear more clearly.
The name is intentional. A studio is a working space — active, alive, creative. We don't arrive here to be observed and labeled. We arrive to do the real work of understanding our inner architecture and rebuilding our relationship with ourselves from the inside out.
Every person who walks through this practice carries an emotional system that has been running hard, often without adequate support, often without anyone telling them it was doing exactly what it was designed to do.
Emotion is not the obstacle — it's the compass.
Developed by Mx. Randall Leonard through years of clinical observation and grounded in liberation psychology, the Emotion Liberation Model™ positions each of your five core emotions as a radar system — ancient, precise, and functioning exactly as it was built to function.
The clinical work is not about quieting your emotional system. It is about learning to receive its signals more clearly, understand what each emotion is detecting, and move through life with greater cooperation between your instincts and your conscious choices.
"The goal is not the best possible management of your emotions. It is the best possible relationship with them."
Every session at Vivid Emotion Studio concludes with a personalized written reflection — a summary of the session's emotional work alongside unique clinical insights and processing prompts designed to carry the work forward through the week. This is not a clinical note. It is a lantern for the days ahead.
All services are grounded in the Emotion Liberation Model™ and carried out with a liberation psychology orientation.
For adults ready to understand themselves more deeply
One-on-one clinical therapy through the Emotion Liberation Model™. Sessions explore the emotional architecture beneath your patterns, behaviors, and ways of relating. Not symptom reduction as the endpoint — understanding as the path. Each session includes a personalized written reflection to support the week's processing.

Leonard has spent a lifetime watching how emotions move — through individuals, through families, through communities under sustained pressure — and built a clinical framework from that observation that is empirical, liberation-grounded, and deeply human.
ELM did not begin in a textbook. It began in childhood, in the close attention paid to how people feel, why they feel it, and what that feeling is trying to protect. It has been tested in clinical sessions, refined in supervision, challenged at conferences, and applied — with care — in the lives of real people doing real work.
"You were never too emotional. You were under-supported in what your emotions were trying to tell you."
